Thank you for Recycling, Reducing and Reusing - it all helps to protect our Wachusett area

Volunteer
Wachusett Earthday is a non-profit group serving the area since 1992. Most of the workers you see on site are volunteers. Your support as a VOLUNTEER (click here for info on volunteering) -
Donate
Financial donations are gratefully accepted. Wachusett Earthday is a registered 501c non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible. If you wish to donate by check, please make it out to "Wachusett Earthday" and mail to Wachusett Earthday, P. O. Box 593, Holden, MA 01520 or use the Donate button below which will take you to Paypal where you can use Paypal or a credit card. Thank you. -
Plan Your Trip
Your support as a VISITOR is also critically important. We can function most efficiently if you follow traffic signs, have your ID ready for Check-In, and pack your vehicle so we can assess what is being brought onsite and direct you to the appropriate areas for drop-off. If you have questions on where something should go, please ask a volunteer rather than just abandon the item. Items for ReUse should be functioning, complete and clean, or 'shelf-ready'.
So How Does It Work?
-
Free Items
Many items are available at no cost to residents of our member towns. Household goods, decor, 0ffice, pet, craft, books, toys and games can be found in the ReUse Building. Outdoor toys, gardening supplies, sports equipment, baby items and furniture are located in the Center Circle area. The North 40 may have lawn equipment, metals or wood for projects, appliances and home project renovation supplies available too.
-
Resale Shop
Selected items are made available for purchase - all proceeds support the operations and work of Wachusett Earthday Inc. The shop is located in the building, near the entrance. In addition, sewing machines, some fabrics and related items may be available in the Fabrics area. Please pay before leaving the shop or Fabric area.

Teacher or Non-profit?
For Teachers Outside Our 7 Member Towns or Non-Profits:
Please refer to our Hours Page. If you're a teacher who doesn't reside within our 7 member towns, you're welcome to "shop" for classroom supplies during our volunteer work hours. These typically occur: Mondays or Fridays: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Tuesdays: 5:00 – 6:30 PM, Wednesdays: 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Please bring your teacher ID for verification, as this is required for educators from outside our member towns.
For Non-Profit Organizations:
If you represent a non-profit and are looking to source materials from us, you are also welcome to visit during the hours listed above. However, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance. This allows us to try to locate specific items ahead of your visit and arrange for a volunteer to assist you if you need help accessing materials beyond what's available in the ReUse Building
We’re happy to support your work and look forward to helping you find what you need!
